Althea Boudreaux, owner of Something Special, was once asked, "What are you looking for when you venture out on a day trip?"  Without hesitation, her answer was, "something special, whether for myself or a gift for someone."  For years, she dreamed of having the perfect store that would create that special experience where customers would enjoy searching for that "something special".

The other part of the dream was to support artists by giving them a place to show and "grow" their work. Both of her daughters are gifted, one a photographer and the other a multimedia and graphic art artist.  Having commercialized their work when they were young, she found it difficult to find a place to present and sell their pieces.

Something Special offers a variety of antique and vintage furniture, glassware, fine china, linens and collectibles.  Also featured is the work of artists of all ages, to include local photographers, artisans of handcrafted pottery, jewelry and leaded glass, and artists working with paint, pencil and wood, including a chainsaw woodcarver.

Although small in size, Something Special, has such a variety that you can add to any area of your home or purchase that special gift at amazing prices.  The dream is now a reality and can be found at 207 Main Street in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

Stop by Something Special in the Bay and find that something special for your someone special, or just for you!
